MISL Guest Lectures

MISL Staff regularly give lectures on masonry design and construction at local universities and community colleges.  Instructors may also bring their classes to the Masonry Center for technical lectures.  Please use our Contact Us page for more information.

AIA St. Louis Masonry Industry Scholarship

In 2002 the St. Louis masonry industry established a scholarship through the AIA St. Louis Scholarship Fund for students in their third, fourth and fifth year of undergraduate and graduate studies at an accredited school of architecture.  Eligibility is limited to students from the following Missouri counties:  Crawford, Franklin, Jefferson, Lincoln, St. Louis (city and county) and Warren.  For more information, please contact AIA St. Louis.

Financial Assistance

The MISL Board of Trustees provides financial assistance, on a per need basis, to students enrolled in construction related educational programs including, but not limited to, architectural studies, architectural engineering, structural engineering and construction project management.  Recipients must be directly affiliated with the St. Louis masonry industry, either personally or through a family member, and reside in the one of the following Missouri counties:  Crawford, Franklin, Jefferson, Lincoln, St. Louis (city and county) and Warren.   In addition, recipients must not be eligible for the St. Louis Masonry Industry Scholarship offered through AIA St. Louis.  Please use our Contact Us page for more information.
