Board of Trustees

In 1971, a trust fund was established to promote the use of masonry in the greater St.
Louis area. Through this trust fund, the Masonry Institute of St. Louis was created to
serve as the promotional and technical arm of the local masonry industry. The Masonry
Institute of St. Louis is governed by a trustee board which consist of five mason
contractor members, five union bricklayer members and three masonry supplier
advisors. The board of trustees meet regularly to give oversight and direction
to the staff of the Masonry Institute of St. Louis. The current chairman of the board is
Brian J. Grant , (shown at left), President of Grant Contracting Co., Inc. Additional
